I was so grateful to get to New York City earlier this month, a city I’ve been wanting to pay another visit to for years. I went with a friend and had fun attending some blogging and fashion week events and of course playing tourist around the Big Apple. This outfit is what I wore on the first day to check out fall previews and explore SoHo. I’ll be posting more this month on what I did and wore when I was there. Since I’ve had so much newness the first half of this year, most of my posts have been about travel and life changes. It feels like it's been such a long time since I've really sat down and wrote about style. I’m feeling settled into my life in Chicago now-a-days and with the best season for fashion right around the corner I’m looking forward to writing more on this topic again, rather than just sharing the outfit photos.
With that being said, I’ve also felt the urge to talk more about wellness topics and as my apartment comes together I definitely plan on sharing more interior design content. I’m finding so much inspiration by making my little studio into my own personal sanctuary :) Is that something you guys will be interested in? Okay, now that this post has been a bit directionless thus far, back to fashion…
As I’m sure you guys have noticed Fossil is one of my favorite brands and a good percentage of bags that I own are Fossil brand. Their longevity and versatility is incredible and I love that they look and feel upscale without really breaking the bank. I do most of my shopping online and this is why I’m glad Fossil products are available on zappos.com, pairing quality with great customer service. I loved the steel blue hue of this particular bag. The first time I wore it I paired it with a rusty red for contrast, but I was feeling more monotone with this look when I wore it with a deep green, light weight long sleeve top for the transition into cooler weather.
Stay tuned to see the rest of my NYC looks & pretty please leave me some comments with which topics you enjoy hearing about from me :) Love you guys!
