I know what you're thinking, who uses clipboards anymore in this digital age? Well, I suppose I can be a little old school because I still like my to-do lists and schedules to be on paper. A few weeks ago I purchased a pretty and helpful organizational template from Brim Papery. I liked everything about it especially the "Today's Truth" section, but I didn't like that there wasn't a hard back for ease of writing. If you're anything like me you might be writing your to-do list in bed to plan out the next day or you're all around the house running in and out trying to check things off. Therefore I needed a clipboard. And a cute one (obviously). So I purchased just a regular old clipboard from Target for $1.50 and used some supplies I had around the house to spruce it up!
What you'll need: A clipboard, Washi Tape, Mod Podge, White spray paint.
1. First I covered the clip with painters tape & then sprayed the entire board, front and back, with the white spray paint.
2. After the board was dry, I wrapped the Washi tape around the board, also front and back, using various spacing and patterns.
3. I painted on the Mod Podge to seal the Washi tape on there for good.
And here's the finished product! It works perfectly for my to-do list print and matches some of my other supplies. What more could an organization-freak ask for? :)
If you're going to try this DIY let me know and I'd love to see your finished product!
